Backer Survey is Live

Last week, we sent out the Backer Survey.

A quick note on Import Duty and Taxes:
There has been a little confusion on the additional shipping fees being collected in Backerkit. These fees are being collected to cover taxes and duties prior shipping the Weekender.
In our previous campaign, we did not collect taxes and duties prior to shipping. This slowed down the shipment of the bags dramatically. This time around, we are able to collect import duty and taxes in Backerkit prior to shipping out rewards for several countries. By collecting these fees before shipment, we have learned that our backers are able to save time and money. We are able to collect import duty and taxes through Backerkit for the following countries:
All Member Countries of the E.U., UK, Canada, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile
The following countries do not charge import duty and taxes: Austraila, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Singapore
We are unable to collect import duty and taxes from any other country not listed above.

Interior Color Survey Results

Hello Backers,
I just wanted to shoot out a quick update regarding the interior colors and the status on sending out the survey.
The results are in for the interior color survey and we are going to use the following interior colors:
The Breton Weekender will have a black interior.
The Blue Weekender will have the gingham pattern that is in the below picture
The Grey Weekender will have the gingham pattern that is in the picture below

I am hoping to get the survey approved by Backerkit today. Once that is live we will send out an additional update explaining the survey and how it works.

Color Options and Survey News

Within the next couple of days we will send out the survey for the Weekender. Prior to sending the survey, I wanted to cover a couple of questions we have received about the color options.
First, we will be offering the Weekender in the above color options: Grey with Tan Leather, Black with Black Leather, and Blue with Brown Leather.
Second, for those that ordered the Weekender + Packing System the color of the inserts will match the color of the bag you select. For example, if you select the Black Weekender the Packing System will be black.
Third, prior to sending out the survey, I wanted to get some feedback on the interior color of the bag. I was planning on using the same interior pattern pictured below for the black, blue, and grey Weekenders.
However, I have heard feedback from some backers who would like the interior color to match the exterior color. As such, I would like to know everyone's thoughts on whether you want the interior of the Weekender to match the exterior color. I have created a survey for you to input your answers.
